Terms of Service
Last updated 22 April 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Ortomate Limited (“we”, “us”), the operator of twenty.quest. By creating an account or running a quest, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
1. The service
twenty.quest helps a facilitator run a structured twenty-question quest with their leadership team. The service ingests strategy documents and a brief, generates tailored questions, collects answers from invited participants, and produces synthesis artifacts including a concept map, a written report, a catalyst draft, and a narrated recap video. It uses third-party large language models and voice synthesis to do this; outputs are generated text and media and should be reviewed by the facilitator before being relied on.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for the actions taken through your account. Notify us at privacy@twenty.quest if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the strategy documents you upload, the briefs you write, the participant lists you manage, and the answers participants submit through your quests. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit this content solely to operate the service and produce the artifacts you request.
You are responsible for having the right to upload each document and to invite each participant. Do not upload content you do not have rights to, and do not invite participants who have not agreed to take part.
4. Participant responses and attribution
twenty.quest is non-anonymous. When a participant answers, the facilitator sees the answer attributed by name, and synthesis artifacts may quote participants by name. Facilitators must be transparent with participants about this before inviting them.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to process personal information about people who have not consented, or in violation of applicable law.
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or contains malware.
- Interfere with the service, circumvent rate limits, or attempt to access data belonging to other accounts.
- Use the service to build a competing product or to benchmark against us without our written permission.
6. Subscriptions and payment
a. Current pricing. twenty.quest is currently provided free of charge. Paid subscription tiers are planned for the near future; the clauses below describe how they will apply once they launch. Facilitators will be notified by email before any charges apply.
b. Payment processing. When paid tiers launch, payment will be processed by Stripe on our behalf. By providing a payment method, you authorize us and Stripe to charge you the applicable fees on a recurring basis until you cancel. Fees are quoted in New Zealand dollars unless stated otherwise.
c. Cancellation. You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; you retain access to paid features through the end of that period.
d. Refunds. Fees for paid subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law. We do not provide credits for partial billing periods or unused features.
e. Changes to pricing. We may change pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of paid features after a notified change counts as acceptance of the new price.
7. Third-party services
The service depends on third-party providers including Vercel, Supabase, Railway, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Resend, and Plausible. Stripe will be added when paid tiers launch. Their availability and terms are outside our direct control. See the privacy policy for the full list and how each is used.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service available and performant, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take the service offline for maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is”. Artifacts produced by twenty.quest reflect the inputs and the behaviour of large language models; they are not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing them before sharing with your team or making decisions. We disclaim all implied warranties to the extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of NZD $100 or the fees you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, or if required to do so by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be notified by email to facilitators. Continued use after the effective date of the updated terms counts as acceptance.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith discussion will be resolved by final and binding arbitration seated in Wellington, New Zealand.
14. Contact
